Not possible to interact with large dynasty trees (including my own) - Playstation5

Description​

When opening the dynasty tree, it is not possible to interact with it, not possible to click characters or expand/deflate family trees, it is only possible to move the view of the tree (zoom in/out, move left/right etc). It is possible to view the tree, but not interact with it. (the frame indication for this also does not show anymore)

Yet, going to other dynasty trees (smaller ones) it is possible to open them and interact with them. Going to OTHER large dynasty trees than your own, it is also not possible to interact with them, like your own large dynasty tree.

I only have 1 relevant game thus far, so I don't know if it is specific conditions of this savefile which creates the issue. However, another dynasty tree bug (when taking over as new heir, dynasty tree is deflated and showing another irrelevant branch), then it is possible to interact with the dynasty tree. Which could indicate the issue is with my branch of the dynasty tree, in combination with the overall dynasty tree.

Unsure, play the game until you have large dynasty trees with 130+ living members, then try to open any large dynasty tree and interact with it.

Don't think it is possible to retrieve the PS5 savefile and send it.

Additionally, I have been struggling with this issue for some time, among other things it corrupts the autosave. But I was able to bypass this issue by reverting to older savefiles. Yet, this issue keeps showing up from time to time, and when it does, it takes alot of reverting savefiles etc to get past it. Then the game might work for awhile, and the issue shows up again later on, and then back to the whole savefile situation.

Despite my hesitation to get this game (I tried the demo and didn't understand the game, but I really like strategy games), I did get it and once I finally understood it, I really like it alot. However, this bug is gamebreaking, so much so that the purchase has to be refunded. I don't want that, but that's how serious the issue is. The dynasty tree is a fundamental part of the game!

Even just having this bug hanging around like a haunting ghost is serious enough, even if I manage to find a way to keep playing this save.

So, last update, Paradox included a new approach to the Dynasty Tree to solve some potential issues. Instead of displaying pictures of family members, they now just display the name. This might have solved some issues perhaps. But this specific issue in this thread was not solved. Clearly the dynasty tree does not lock up permanently due to some memory issue, but rather some kind of bug. This happens when the dynasty tree reaches 128-131 members. At least on PS5 on my game this seem to happen consistently.

So, for now the dynasty tree is quite useless and not usable in practice.
