I have read on the wiki that you can get Psionic Barriers from the Dimension of Suffering event I have researched Psionic theory and picked Mind over Matter for an ascension perk followed by Transcendence which made my species is fully Psionics it said on the wiki that there is an option to pray for a solution I don't receive that option at all when I choose the option to close the portal I get an update in the situation log to close the portal which takes X amount of months for the project to finish depending on how much physics you have after the project has finished I don't recieve Psionic Barriers instead I get Quantum Field Manipulation at the end I will upload at picture of the menu and another after the portal has been closed
