Now EU Will Install, But...

Okay, I tried a different CD drive, and the game installed.

Then it would get stuck with a small white box in the center of my screen indefinitely (but I could cancel).

So I patched to 1.09.

Now it goes through all the intro movies, then CTD.

Athlon 1333, 512mb DDR RAM, GeForce 3, SoundBlaster Live 5.1, all latest drivers (verified today)

Also, if I try to click through the intro movies, the program crashes out to Windows.
