ok 1 last newbie question

how do i get an allince with other countrys?

most i can do is declare war,peace,offer loan and arrange a roal marrage but thats it and they wont agree to a marrage so how do i allie???

You can be a leader of the alliance by creating your own alliance or join an already exsisting alliance. To create your own alliance find a country that does not belong to any exsisting allaince and press the "Create New Alliance" button. To join and alliance mose over the Join Allaince button and it will tell you which nation is the leader of that allaince. Then select that nation in the diplomatic window and join their allaince.

Bud you'll also need to check if you're already in an alliance. If you're not the leader you can't do anything else until you leave it!

So, if you want some diplomatic change leave your current alliance.

That frees you up. Then search for unalligned countries you'd like to ally with. If you start a new alliance you're its leader. Don't wait for ever though, few countries remain unalligned for long.

Btw ask as many questions as you want. I'm still learning and I'm sure we're the majority

If you click on a country in the diplomacy screen and the alliance option is greyed out, it's probably because:

1. You are already in an alliance but aren't the leader. So you can't invite new members.

or

2. The country you're trying to invite is already a member of another alliance.
