I'm playing with HOI2DD mod 1.2, the 1936 game as Germany, it's 1950, I have reserched "all" the Nuc techs, and have a level 9 reactor, but the nuc button is shaded out? Not the I like using them in the game, but I'd like one or 2 around in case the Yanks building them before I take their country over.
Once you have all the prerequisites - secret weapon nuke techs & reactor level - as you said you have, then the nukes are built automatically for you on some schedule the game determines. You cannot build them directly yourself. The status of your nuke builds shows up in the upper right of the screen; there is a little icon and if you hover the mouse pointer over it, it will tell how many nukes you have and the ETA for the next one.
