PA on Mac won't start after Update

Hello,

since the update PA is unable to start.

When I click play, for a few seconds the Paradoxlauncher starts and disappears completely.

I run PA on a MacBook Pro 2011, High Sierra.

If anyone could help, I would be greatful!

Please send in the game log
~/Library/⁨Application Support/⁨Prison Architect/debug.txt

Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

By now, when I try to run the game, it just opens a window "Bootstrap error: Launcher not found"

The first thing I see is this MacBook has 4gb of system memory, whereas the game's minimum requirement is 6gb. Not sure that is your problem though.

The log shows the game doesn't think Steam is running.

[SteamWrapper] SteamAPI is not initialised.
[SteamWrapper] Failed to launch game through Steam.

If you go to the Steam folder for the game and manually run PrisonArchitect.app, what happens?

So this must be a launcher issue. I know there's a new one out soon, let's wait for that and see if it helps you. All the best!
