Okay thank you, here is the log of what happens when I start the launcher (nothing changes when I click launch game)

Thanks a lot, I hope soon an update with support of Hearts of Iron and Battletech, I am using the version 1.0-beta-14 in case I need to download again and do installation again?

Current version is -24. It should update itself when you run it, so I'm not sure how that is not happening for you. Do make sure all traffic to and from api.paradoxplaza.com is allowed through all your firewalls.

I installed Stellaris through the Steam launcher, can I run the same client of the game from the Paradox launcher, too? As of now, the launcher still thinks the game is "not installed". I'd rather not have to start a new game when switching to the Paradox launcher.

As far as i know, it's two separate installs.

Hi developpers.

Can we have info on the paradox download page or on this thread about the number of the current downloadable version of the launcher.
I never find the info if a new released version is available for download.

Thanks

It should update itself automatically every time you run it. Currently it is beta-24.

Just popping in to quickly say a few things: the Paradox launcher and Steam installations of Stellaris are separate, but if you just want to continue playing a session, you can probably just copy your save games from one to the other. For save game locations, just look them up here and change "Stellaris" to "Stellaris Plaza" to get to the Paradox Launcher save game location.

I haven't tried this myself, so I might be wrong, but it might be worth a shot!

We officially support the latest versions of Ubuntu, if I'm not mistaken.

@alifelove please uninstall and install from scratch! If you're stuck in version beta-14, something is probably messing up your update process.

I'm trying to be more proactive about using the Paradox Launcher for my games, so I have recently installed Stellaris and Tyranny through it. I have two quick questions, though, if I may (did not see them on this thread):

1. Where are the download folders for accessing DLC like soundtracks and wallpapers on Windows 10? (I don't see the installed games appearing in the Windows 10 start menu)
2. I have a game save going in Battletech on Steam. If I install Battletech through the Paradox Launcher, will it sync my saved game through my Paradox account being used on the Steam game?

Thanks in advance for the help and advice!

1. Those things should all be under C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\games\

2. I don't believe so, I think you'll need to copy the save file across manually as described in the post just above yours

More specifically, since these are Stellaris DLCs, you'll find them under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\games\stellaris\dlc

All of the DLC is installed there.

Fellow humans.

Today I'm pleased to announce a new feature in the launcher - Integration with the freshly released Paradox modding system. Currently, only a smaller set of mods for Stellaris are available through the launcher, but of course we hope that modders will want to target our launcher users as well as the console versions of our games - In fact, Cities: Skylines have offered Paradox-hosted mods on XBox for some time already.

In any case, please mod hard but report bugs gently! ;)

Is this the right place to ask why there aren`t any Stellaris t-shirts with the cover art of the physical version on it?

Is this the right place to ask why Battletech v1.2 isn't available for download within the Paradox Launcher? I am using Launcher v1.0-beta-29 and the most recent version of the game to install says "1.1.2-328R". Thoughts?

Having the same problem with Battletech, 1.2 has been out on steam for a few days but not on paradox launcher. Not sure if it's just not out or if the problem is on my side. Please help.

v1.2.0-345R showed up in the Paradox Launcher today when I logged on. Thank you.

Here is my concern, Paradox/HBS... you OWN the game that is in the launcher and yet you didn't make the patch available for a WEEK after it was available on Steam and GoG. I mean this in all the kindest ways... but WHAT.THE.F@#$!! Shouldn't your own game launcher get the update AT THE SAME TIME? Or at the very least, BEFORE a non-Paradox/HBS gaming platform? This feels completely back-asswards for how you should be running your game launcher.

Mine still hasn't updated lol... I'm still stuck at 1.1.2-328R. What did you do to make it upgrade?
Make sure you are logged into the launcher with your Paradox account. Then click on Games and Refresh.
