patch 1.08 in italian?

hey everybody, i just convinced a friend of mine to give eu2 a try, but he can only understand italian. so, i was wondering, since i need to give him the 1.08 patch, if this is available in italian, or if i install the normal one (english) will it changethe whole game text to english?

1.08 is English only.
You can apply it over the Italian version but as you say the text will be English.
