To play the PC version on a MAC you would have to have some kind of Windows emulator running I would guess. I hold a couple of degrees in Computer Science but have spent a grand total of 10 hours on a MAC and that was when I was forced to, in an undergrad History class of all places. So I know nothing about Macs sorry.
I can tell you that it would not be supported here though, as Mac OS is not a supported Operating system for the version you have and in any event Paradox does not support even the native MAC version, mostly for the reason I just said, Paradox knows nothing about the MAC version.
