Really will those countries be in the game? As I remember when I read the list of countries( dinasties) that will be playable I didn't see nor Serbia (Rashka) nor Croatia. Although both had important role in medieval history not only of Balkans but of entire Europe. Serbia was the major power in the region during the reign of Dusan Silni (Nemanjic din.) from 1330( after the battle of Velbuzd) till 1355, and Croatian nobles have important role in sttrugles for Hungarian throne (Zigmund Lux. Vs Lasdislav of Napoli).

If you are referring to my list of sovereign dynasties in 1066 I'll have to mention that the list is far from "final"...

Now, to your questions:

Croatia was a kingdom at the time, under the control of the Suronja dynasty, and should definitely be playable.
Duklja (Zeta) was a principality in 1066, and became a kingdom in 1077 under Michael I. Should be playable.
Rashka is a problem... A principality from the 8th century it was kicked around by and made subjects to the Bulgars and Byzantines in the 10th to the 12th century and didn't, AFAIK, break away until Stefan Nemanja in the last decades of the 12th century. Hence, I don't hink they will be playable unless vassals will be made playable.

Oh, and welcome to the CK forum :)

Werent Croatia and especially Serbia important sources of silver & copper?

Even if these particular dynasties aren't in an original, they presumably would be 'easily'* represented with a mod

* In the sense that it's readily do-able rather than quickly.

Croatia was in a peak of power in that time. This is a list of Croatian kings of that period:
1000. - about 1035. Kresimir III.
1000. - about 1020. Gojslav
about1035. - 1058. Stjepan I.
1058. - 1074. Petar Kresimir IV.
1074. - 1089. Dmitar Zvonimir
1089. - 1091. Stjepan II.
1093. - 1097. Petar

A great mines of silver was near a town Srebrenica todays in BiH, Bosnia was well known in that, even a bishop province was known as Bosnia Argentina ( Bosna srebrena) or Silver Bosnia. About coper I don't know.
It will be good if Rashka will be playable.

Sorry guys for this stupid quoting, I've forgotten how the use of some buttons.
I'm glad at least one medieval Serbian state is there- Duklja. Actually after the death of Emp. Vaslilius II (1025) the Byzantine influence in Serbian countries began to decline (political inf. at that time), and Duklja became indipendent. They even controlled Rashka for a while. Later on Rashka was the center of reunion of small Serbian principalities( Duklja, Travunija, Hum). By the way Vojislav's son Mihajlo(Mihailo) was crowned by pope (Gregor VII) in 1077 and Duklja became kingdom.
I really hope that vassals will be playable cause it would give special dimension to the game.

Actualy, if we talk about Silver mines in 1066, Srebrenica is only land west of Drina deap inland that is under control of Byzant in 1066.
Im guessiong that silver mines did play some role in Byzant wishes to poses exactly that northeast part of Bosnia streched so west ;)
