Problem playing online

Me and a firend have been trying to play HOI2 online via valykrinet or however u spell it and IP adresses whenever either of us creates a game and the other tries to join a message comes up saying there is no host or IP adress on other line. This also happens to us when we try to join other people's game anyone know what my problem is? right now my other computer with HOI2 has a virus so I can't say that is exactly what the message says but I know it has to do with a host/IP adress

I got my computer working again and tried to play online today but it now says I do not have the right version of the game when I do have 1.3a and the games are 1.3a.

Often people that are unavaible to join other games often sits on a routher witch is making Eu2 sometimes and other games also unavaible to connect to others because of a couple of ports are closed. Check if ya gto a router and the search forum on help with that. Many before have had this problem so u are not alone

and ppl sometimes plays with other mods. that's why it sometimes says u have a different version they have 1.03 but with a mod that change somethings.
