Problem with California

When california was created in a recent german game, it caused the game to pause for an extended period of time (5-7 minutes) once every 24 hours. This paused happened with every country i tried (8 or so) except california

If you completely exited the game and rebooted, then load the save does it still happen?

Unfortunately no. I even tried restarting my computer

I loaded as the US, used neville to get almost all of the territory back and the game is now playable again. It will only pause for about 1 minute every four days or so

i have the problem on my notebook. The problme there is, that the autosave option freezed the game for a while. Harddisk and CPU to slow...

Exterous, is that it, is it the autosave that is taking so long.
Either way if you have a save that this problem occurs with and it is repeatable as you say, then follow the instructions in the sticky thread about bug reporting.

Its not the autosave. I have mine set for once a month and that happened once a day. I'll see if i can did up a save for ya.
