Problem with Colonise Valyria submod and mega wars

I have a problem with the Colonise Valyria submod. I am Emperor of Old Valyria with absolute CA and whenever I finish a war I get the mega war ended event (mega_wars.8).
The problem is that many rulers become my vassals that haven't been my vassals before, like the High Septon.
Is there some way to fix that or should I just disable that event for me?

I think it was related to the first bookmark and the New Valyria war, the civil war status wasn't cleaned up properly after the war ended.
If I start a year later after the war I can conquer Volantis without triggering this bug, although I still got the event to join Volantis or Tyrosh in their non-existing war which is another bug.
