Prussia AI pathfinding bug

1.03, playing as Sweden; allied with Denmark

1847: Prussia dows Denmark over Holstein. Prussias fleet is quickly sunk. The danish army goes rampage in the northen german provinces, but is later destroyed by the growing size of the prussien army.

Now only a swedish corps in Flensburg and the combined navys of Denmark and Sweden, stand in the way of the 30+ division prussien army.

But it only gets as far as Stralsund, where it cannot move to Copenhagen because of the navys in Storebælt. And here is the bug: It will never divert up into Jutland, where my small swedish corps would just be a speedbump for it.

This goes on for several years.

The AI is very stupid when it comes to not having a regular front with its enemies, now the Stralsun-Kobenhavn thing is normal.You can't cross a strait if a hostile fleet is there.As for the other, well, I guess we'll just have to wait for Paradox to find a way to make the AI march through countries to has access in, ala EU2.

Yeah, I know I shouldn't expect to much from the AI. But the thing is, it had access to Denmark through Mecklenburg and Holstein. Both were in the war on opposite sides.

I eventually had to load a save game as Denmark and use the neville cheat. My debt as Sweden was by now nearly 50000£ :wacko:.
