Hello folks!

Bought the Mass Transit DLC on the PlayStation Store over the weekend. Seemed to download okay, and shows that it was installed. However, none of the DLC is appearing in the game. It still shows it as available to buy on the main menu screen.

The recent update was installed with no problem, as some of the new tools (road guide, snapping, etc) are there in the game.

Not sure what's going on, or if i goofed up on something. I've searched around looking for answers but haven't found any, only a few other people experiencing the same problem.

Any help or ideas of how to fix it would be greatly appreciated!

With other cases I saw elsewhere, the users had to find the download page on their PS4 account and manually download the DLC from there. Not being a PS4 user I can't be more specific, sorry, but I hope that helps!

Issue has been resolved, but still left with questions.

Turns out you need to have the Digital version of Cities Skylines, and not the Physical / Blu-Ray disc version. For whatever reason, DLC can't be installed or applied to the Blu-Ray version of the game - even though the game files are installed on the PS4's hard drive (or at least for my copy anyway).

As a last resort, I bought the game digitally from the PlayStation store, and low and behold, that solved it. The Mass Transit DLC was installed and appearing in the game.

Interesting to note though, It appears you can install two copies of the game on the PS4. You can apparently have both the Digital and Physical copied installed at the same time. I had the disc still in the drive while the Digital version was downloading, and saw that it was also downloading the same update for the Physical copy too.

Also, the saved games from my physical copy of the game can't be loaded into the digital version. Win some, lose some. :<

In any event, I solved my issue at least, and I hope this info might help others too. A little annoyed that I had to buy the game again, but I hope may be this might be fixed or at least looked into later down the road.

Thank you for your help though! And thanks for reading too!

Well, I did not know that! Good to find out, that will help me help others.

But what are DVD players supposed to do? I don't imagine there is a DVD version of the DLCs ... I'll get Paradox to look into it.
