[PS4]-Pop ups cancelling instantly

Hey guys!

Just grabbed this for PS4 (physical copy) so I’m new to the community. Looks like I have a lot of learning to do, but I’ve encountered a bug (?) already and didn’t know if this was common or if a fix is out there? I’m new, so I have the pop ups on for the in-game guide. Whenever these pop, I hear a chime, and they show for a split second and immediately disappear. I don’t even have time to read them. Any info on this from other players, or maybe pa4 only? Thanks in advance!

I seem to have this "problem" too, but it's not that bad...

For me it happens when it pops up and I click a button on my controller, unknowingly. So I guess it isn't a bug, rather it's me accidentally dismissing it.

Example:
I'm extending a road. Right as I am going to click "X" to build the new section of the road, something pops up (presumably a tip). But since I clicked a button immediately after, the popup dismisses itself (I didn't necessarily click "O").
