So I've been wondering about buying DD and I figured I would just check some of the mods to see if maybe they offer anything more then actually buying DD. I'm a bit confused on this mod, is this mod for DD or for HoI2?

The current version 0.25 is DD-compliant, whilst the previous version (0.22) is the last one for regular HoI2. The next version, 0.30, will incorporate all new DD features.

I would recommend buying DD because of the fact that it is going to be the version which Paradox continues support in terms of patches (hopefully). The original HoI2 will not get continued support in terms of bugfixes. The price of DD is low enough, especially considering it is a full installation, to justify its purchase. The improvments in the AI are enough to probably justify it on its own without looking at the extended time period or new units.
