Completely different question, both me and my beard wife are gay. Is this like CK2 where we can still make babby with some effort or will no babby be forthcoming?
It appears so according to the Wiki.

You do miss out on the opportunity to become lovers or soul mates with your spouse to increase Fertility, though.

Does anyone know how to make an army "elite" quality? My levies have grown a lot but I'm not sure how to keep increasing my army quality
Army quality is based on the overall quality of troops, i.e. the ratio of levies vs men-at-arms vs knights. The more your levies grow the lower your quality drops, but don't be afraid of this: an army with x levies added will still be a better army even though the display quality may drop. It's just there to give you approximate information about the composition of the army IIRC.

This is something I've been trying to find out as well. It seems like they didn't add this into the game. Hopefully we're either just missing it or they will add it back in because for some of us, it's essential. I like having my game pause at most events that require my attention. I also take a crap ton of screenshots and record everything on a timeline with the dates they happen. I use the pause to stop the game so I can get the screen shot and record the date it happened.
I really hope they add this. I was winning a revolt war against my king and happily marching toward his capital to put the final nail in the coffin, only to discover that he started to besiege my capital a while ago and was 6 days (!) away from taking it. Fortunately I managed to get a white peace. If I had discovered this a few in-game days later I would have lost the war, even though I had enough troops to easily beat the besieging army.

We seriously need message settings in the game. Their absence is having a really negative impact on the game. :(

Is there a cheat sheet somewhere that tells me what actions cause stress for which traits? I keep getting stress events with William the Conquerer when i give out titles and don't know why (he's not got the Greedy trait which i think i saw causes this in one of the streams)
The game will tell you if an action causes Stress as you are about to undertake it, we usually just go through the motions so quickly that we miss it.

For example, one time I wondered why I kept gaining Stress until I discovered that as I was Shy I got Stress every time I started swaying people. I had swayed so many before that I didn't pay attention to the text.

Another example is when I was Sadistic and gained Stress from moving a prisoner from the dungeon to house arrest when he was going to die from the dungeon.

(In your case I see it was already explained as being Ambitious and handing out titles. :) )

If I restore the Roman Empire, as Holy Roman Emperor, do I keep the Princely Elective succession? (not going to be relevant for awhile, but I'm curious)

How does elective succession interacts with confederate partition if I only have a single title? In my case I am the king of Alba and have tanistry. If My son gets elected, what happens to my other sons? I imagine they get some land, but do they still go independent if said land is dejure part of Alba?

This woman is at my court, has a claim on the Duchy of Barcelona, and the Duchy of Barcelona is currently ruled by a child.

Why do I not have a valid CB on the child?

How do innovation exposures work? I don't share a religion with Russian culture, but it says that I am getting exposure from them? Is this a bug?
If you look at the in-game encyclopedia entries for "Innovations" and "Cultural Exposure" it says that contact with cultures that have innovations your culture doesn't have will always expose you to one innovation and make it be discovered more quickly.

I don't know what the sharing religion tooltip is about if it's not true, but the game says nothing about needing to share religion to get exposure. In my game I do share religion with the ones exposing an innovation to us, and the bonus is still +40%.

You are Catholic, you can't press the claim of a female (since she can't become a ruler in that religion). If you want to be able to do so, ither change your Game Rules before you start or find/make your own religion where gender isn't an issue.
Women can become rulers in Catholicism as long as a title has Male Preference and not Male Only inheritance. However, other posters on here have stated that female claims in Male Dominated areas can only be pressed against women and children.

How do I see pontential Guardians in Vassals and Realm like in CK2? When right clicking on a child and pressing 'Educate child' only potential guardians in the court shows up.

I'd love to know more about this for multi-title realms as well.

I was high king of Ireland with a bunch of titles. I adopted tanistry through the decision. The Kingdom of Ireland was going to go to the tanist, but all my duchies and counties were going to be inherited according to partition rules, so while the tanist was listed as my player heir and heir to Ireland, he wasn't listed as the heir of any of my duchies and counties.

I switched back to confederate partition for Ireland (at a significant Prestige cost, but I got to keep my opinion bonuses for adopting tanistry - go figure!) before dying because I didn't want to risk a game over. Would love to hear what happened if anyone did die in this situation). :)

I wonder why King Garcia of Galicia among the Jimena brothers is the house head (and dynast) of House Jimena (and Jimena Dynasty). Not his oldest brother King Sancho of Castille (who irl briefly united his father's realm), or King Alfonso of Leon (eventual survivor among the brothers), or even King Sanch/Antso of Navarra (who represents the senior line of Jimena). Any reason why Garcia was selected?

His realm looks physically biggest on the map though it was the weakest (maybe stronger than Navarra?). Is that why?

I completely forgot to pre-order CK3 and noticed it was already 12:10 AM of Sep 1st.

So I scrambled to the PDX Plaza website, noticed the preorder can still be bought, and I did, paid for it, got a confirmation email + showing in the order.

Today I was ready to get the code and play it on steam, but interestingly, there was no CK3 in my plaza account library. There was just Crusader Kings III: Royal Edition Pre-Order (Steam) (and plaza) but neither has a cd-key listed under "details" when I click in.

What now?

I have realised that I had several grandchildren born, all in my court, yet I didn't receive any notification of it. Is there a way to change the message settings?

I'm playing as Matilda and I'm the heir to the county of lucca but the count has children, shouldn't one of them inherit? Bug or am I missing something? They are his biological children

I'm not complaining, I'm already plotting his murder

This is pure guesswork, but it might just not have updated the inheritance. This was a common issue in CK2. Try exiting and reloading and see if that changes things. :)
