So I can move it to a store, click on the load button, click on the store, it highlights and the store icon shows up and then nothing, the rover sits there "status : idle".

So what am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem. I think maybe just the load command is broken, since I would assume giving a load order would have the rover move to the store automatically.

Check it's not asking which resource to load - even if there's only one type of resource in a universal store it still expects you to select the resource (it'll show an icon over the storage of the contents). Also make sure the transport isn't already full.

the unlode is as well i had a emty palit with a stor of mettel and it would not oflode nor would it oflode onthe ground

Du'h! You are kidding me!

I've been looking at that icon and saying to my self "yes, that!" having no idea that I had to select the only possible choice to tell it which of the only possible choice I wanted after I'd selected a single item store to tell it what I wanted to move.

Also, if you unload next/near to an already existing temporary storage, than sometimes after moving there it finds no space for the new temp storage and just waits for something to change, placing the order a little bit farther solves this instantly.
