The counties neighbouring the Red Sea don't have any harbours. Also, supply limit in counties neighbouring the Red Sea don't have the coastal modifier.

Both these facts makes warring in those regions hard, long, and painful (that's not what she said).

edit: Same for Aral Sea, Caspian, Arabian, etc. Everything seaside on the bottom right on the map needs a look.

It's not necessary since you can walk across the ocean where the land masses are close to each other. The Red Sea is also not connected with the Mediterranean sea so you wouldn't have any use of the ships anyway.

In every mediterrenean coast field, you can hasten troop movement with ships. This is entirely missing in the Red Sea and all the other seas I listed. I just had to march 3k troops from Alexandria all the way down to Abyssinia because of a rebel uprising there (plus all the counties didnt produce levies due to recently conquered modifer, takes 25 years to wear off), and it took months.

Besides, not being able to build harbour improvements and having lower supply limits make these lands totally unappealing. If anybody mods muslims as playable (or in case of a DLC for that purpose), nobody will want to play Abyssinia or the Arabs.

The Red Sea is also not connected with the Mediterranean sea so you wouldn't have any use of the ships anyway.

I could use those ships to sail into the Arabian Sea (if it were a separate sea field) and invade Birjand, Hormuz or Fars. Or I could cut down the travel time from Awan to Harar by 90%.
