My Aegon turned to Essos and settled in Volantis as a republic. Two things: I'm not getting any Triarch mechanics and Aegon is an Archon instead of a Triarch. Is this supposed to happen? Also am I supposed to have 9 houses total in the republic tab stretching out beyond the 5 in the UI?

Not sure if this is the right thread, sorry if not. I've updated my game and installed the new version, everything works fine until it tells me to choose a starting era. I can't select any characters, all the provinces are black and empty. I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

hmmm, Make sure you have no conflicting Mods installed (i have done this before) failing that Uninstall the mod fully, then reinstall it.

Is the mod on Steam Workshop?
no and there is No need for it, ya see when steam installs it it also adds a C:\Users\DarkKrusty\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II

open that up and find the mod folder.
You just drag and drop then, its so simple SW is not needed but i must admit the convenience of *click* "tick tock tick tock" *done* is handy.

No, because you dont know they exist. Or you dont recognize them as yours.

Robert knew about Mya Stone

She is somewhat openly known to be the bastard daughter of the king from the time he was fostered as young man by Lord Jon Arryn, although she was not acknowledged by her father. She has vague memories of her father, as a big strong man tossing her in the air and catching her. She is nineteen years old, King Robert's eldest child.

At some point after the birth of Joffrey Baratheon, Robert expressed interest in taking one of his base-born daughters (apparently Mya) to court. Cersei Lannister did not protest, but spitefully stated that "the city is not a healthy place for a growing girl", inferring that Cersei would harm her. Robert grew enraged enough to strike her, but did not press the point.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this but I get a CTD a few years into each game after I updated to latest version of mod. No lag or anything just "CK2 has stopped working".
Is there anything I can do?

Hey, what did you guys change so that seduction ends if the seducer gets repelled, and would you mind releasing that as a seperate mod? I enjoy this mod of course, but that would be a very nice thing to have when playing in Europe as well.

You'd think people like Gregor Clegane, Roose and Ramsay Bolton wouldn't be deterred. But, then again, you don't really expect them to be the seducing type.

Shouldn't Jorah have a 3 star fighter trait instead of two, I had say he should atleast be the same as Ned whos never mentioned as a great warrior

Well he survived a fight against 3 great Kingsguard members I mean that has to imply he is somewhat skilled.

Also I don't remember too well but I don't think Jorah Mormont has actually had many defining moments that could determine his combat prowess. The only one I remember was when he was fighting that Qotho dude or whatever his name was, and he only won that cuz the dudes blade got stuck on his armor. Plus his strong trait makes him better than the average trained fighter so I personally think it fits him so far.

Jorah fought in the Greyjoy Rebellion, during which he distinguished himself by showing exemplary courage on the battlefield, being one of the first men through the breach during the siege of Pyke. He received a knighthood in recognition of his bravery.
I think that is worth a 3 star rating as he also lasted a fair few years as a sellsword and his father was impressed enough with him to join the nightwatch. On Neds victory at the tower of the joy isn't it applied that he won thanks to Howland Reed and possible somesort of crannogman tactics ie ned of some sort. He defiantetly not Jaime or Loras standard but I'd say Jorah was worth 3 star but that my opinion

7 vs 3 and the 3 still killed 5

As for Jorah showing "exemplary courage" etc, that doesn't necessarily dictate combat skill, but sure I mean that definitely earns him the brave trait. Just because he was brave doesn't mean he is a skilled fighter also. His father being impressed with him to leave him to the managing of the family lands also doesn't necessarily show fighting skill. It's improbable that he would leave the lands to his son just because he is a good fighter. I feel he did it more because he was impressed with the man he thought his son had become overall, not really much to do with his fighting skill. With the traits he has Jorah is already more skilled than a regular trained fighter his trained fighter trait plus his strong and brave trait add up to a duel modifier of 8 which I believe is the same modifier conferred by the skilled fighter trait. I feel like that shows his skill well enough but well yeah it's only my opinion really.

Xoatly - Yes, it proves the three men were some of the most dangerous and lethal warriors of their time, and even though Eddard is by no means as skilled as they were I still believe he has to be somewhat skilled to even survive that battle where 5 of his companions died, again the whole fight is open to speculation as we don't really know what happened or what Reed did.

But it just seems to me like yeah no way Eddard would've won a straight up duel against any one of those three, but it seems Eddard is skilled enough with a blade to not get hacked to pieces by three of the strongest warriors in Westeros, and actually make it out alive. So I think based on that he deserves a skilled fighter trait. Again all of this is only conjecture as we don't know
