Isn't it said the Ned only survived that fight because he had Ice?

But I agree, Jorah wasn't any great fighter, and doesn't deserve the skilled trait. But as you said, he is just as fine as ned through his other traits, which fits.

I want to say a new one but i cant remember when we updated to 9.2 and i posted this question back in beginning of january so my memory eludes me.

Hello

I have a problem in my actually GoT-Game. I am Daenerys Stormborn and I have take the Iron Thron. Next I look after some interesting characters and I explore that I can invite Jon Snow to my court, despite he is in the Night` watch. I`m happy, because I like Jon Snow.
Now I want to marry him, but it isn`t possible. I can click the marriage button in his menu, but if I will choose a bride for him, their is no one. Than I click on my profile and search a husband, but I don´t find Jon Snow.

Okay, he has this damnit black-brother trait. But if this is the reason, why I can click on his marriage/Landtitle buttons? This make no sense.

Also is there any way to marriage Jon or give him some Lands or took this black-brother-trait away from him?

Probably only through cheats.
Early in the mod's life cycle it was thought to be impossible to marry them, but they were completely infertile so it marrying them would've mattered very little. But it still needed to be resolved because sometimes AI was stupid and targeted these for marriage.

removed trait black_brother idofjonsnowthatknowsnuffing

There you go.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this but I get a CTD a few years into each game after I updated to latest version of mod. No lag or anything just "CK2 has stopped working".
Is there anything I can do?

//Loka

Are you also running CK 2.3.3 (the latest version)? Because if so - I have the same problem & there is a conflict with the update from 2.3.2 to 2.3.3. Unfortunately, there is no 2.3.2 beta version available on steam, so we may be SOL until someone releases an update. For what it's worth, I have no log messages that indicate a potential source for the problem (nor does it happen at the same point in every play, but it definitely hits within 3 years of starting to play.

An update is in the works; expect it soon.

Anything you can tell us about the new update. Or do we have to wait for the release and changelog?

All I can say is that it's pretty good (as for the test version of it)

You have to wait for the update to see the full changelog, but if you look around you'll see a few things here and there I would imagine

Rain House and Sharppoint are independant in all bookmarks after the Ninepenny Kings War.

After looking at their history files, it seems this is due to the fact they have a Blackfyre holder (Haegon and Daemon III) and were thus given "liege=0" to simulate these Blackfyre Rebellions.
However, someone forgot to add a line so that they have a liege after that event... It just requires a few tweaks of code that I was able to do, so it shouldn't be much trouble.

Also, Sharppoint is considered to be part of d_dragonstone de jure, most likely because House Bar Emmon (Lords of Sharppoint) fought for Aegon during the Conquest.
It should be part of d_masseys_hook for latter bookmarks however: all this needs is a line of code.

Otherwise, I've noticed a few tweaks regarding cultures in the ruler designer. Is the hedge culture suppose to represent hedge knights?

In the Faith Militant start, Maegor, Tyanna Estatis, and Alya Harroway should all be lovers of each other, according to World of Ice And Fire. Lord Harroway was apparently appointed as Hand, so it should be assumed that House Harroway are on Maegors side as opposed to being docile neutral vassals to the Tullys.

Also, it's impossible to actually reduce Faith authority, even if Maegor wins. Perhaps that should be added to the peace deal, reducing it to Minimal.

Are you going to ask about that Iron Born update like you always do :XD:

Lol, I got an answer so no.

I guess the post "the whole Iron Islands needs to be reworked since the X changes" is just something an anonymous user, and not the devs.

P. S. Of course, if they improve something, balance it, fix it up or expand in any way related to the Ironborn (or as the matter of fact anything else) I'm not complaining. :)

I've reported those issues.

They've been fixed for the forthcoming version.

No. The only reason he survived was because of Howland Reed. It's never stated what he did to save him though, and he is the only person that knows what really happened in the tower of joy.

Well he survived a fight against 3 great Kingsguard members I mean that has to imply he is somewhat skilled.

Also I don't remember too well but I don't think Jorah Mormont has actually had many defining moments that could determine his combat prowess. The only one I remember was when he was fighting that Qotho dude or whatever his name was, and he only won that cuz the dudes blade got stuck on his armor. Plus his strong trait makes him better than the average trained fighter so I personally think it fits him so far.

Skilled, definitely, but he said himself that he only survived because of Howland Reed. If anyone gets 4star, it's him - And he does have it already.
