How do you create the counters? I know that there is the EFM for the shields and the flags, but is there also a template for the counters?

As far as I know, there's no template for counters. It's just open an existent counter and edit it as you will. Then save it at 8bit. If you have Photoshop it might work fine ingame.
If you didn't edited it in Photoshop, but other program, you may have to convert the new counter to the correct color scale that the game uses to have your new counter working ingame. There's a small utility (that you can find in my blog, in Downloads section) that do the job.

I know I already requested two flags just a week ago, but would anybody be willing to also make the shield, flag and counters for this?

It's the later flag for the Weimar Reichswehrministerium's Head of the Army command, if that matters.


edit: And what is the policy regarding the usage of flags posted here that weren't requested by yourself? Been wondering about that.

And I think you don't need to worry about the usage of flags, we don't claim ownership on any of the flags we create (at least I don't)

well, if you don't want it to look distorted and weird. Do you want me to just have the text n stuff in the middle with a wide red background? I think it looks really nice and intressting as it is.

I'd like to at least see the stretched-out version. But if it looks bad I'll just use the original.

Can't make the shield and flag myself, but I can at least edit basic images in GIMP and the like. How's this for a stretched-out flag without actually distorting anything? That should be the right ratio for HOI2/DH flags.

Thanks for the counter. The problem is in the 'HoI 2 BMP to Counter' .exe I use to make them visible in-game; it messed up this one as well. It's not a big problem
