Just started Stellaris, but can't get right-click or double click to work at all on a 2023 MacBook Pro running latest Ventura OS. (right click works on all other games and programs, FWIW). I researched it, applied suggested changes to trackpad--nothing. Contacted Paradox, who suggested a clean Steam Stellaris install after deleting Stellaris folders--didn't work. Tough game to play without right-click.

Anyone know how to get it to work?
Thanks.

Sometimes I have to command-tab out (switching to another program) and then switch back in before the game's UI works correctly on OS/X.

That might have done it! I changed right-click from double click trackpad to click lower right trackpad, command-tabbed several times to other programs, and I can now right click to get the science ship move/survey commands. Didn't work before and still doesn't with double click, but no big deal.

Does Stellaris on MacOS provide the same right click functions as on Windows?

I obviously have a lot to learn but now I can get started. Thanks.

I think I spoke too soon. Today, right click works to go to a ship or planet, but right-clicking in space doesn't bring up a ship's move/survey commands. Using command-tab hasn't enabled that. If anyone has other ideas, I'd appreciate it.

What is secondary click set to in your MacOS trackpad settings?

With EU4 the suggestion is usually to set it to Both Fingers, can you try that please?

Andrew,
First, I changed the trackpad back to two-fingers, and it had no effect. Then, I toggled command-tab several times, and after that, a two-finger tap worked properly. I exited the game and Steam, reopened, and it still works!

Thanks for your help. I'll come back here if this reoccurs.
