Well I guess we can always hope that the next season of dlc will introduce some Egyptian myth flavours. But considering the recent polls.
It's good that Paradox officially wants AoW4 go for longer. So Triumph can plan some long term developments for the game - beyond one SP.

Besides, what came out from the bingo cards regarding the new Nomad culture: movable cities seems confirmed, and some kind of scavenging mechanics around ruins.

Oh for sure, happy to hear Age Of Wonders 4 will go for longer. They might already be planning the next season.

I do wonder what the nomad culture will bring. Scavenging seems fitting, maybe some kind of foraging too.

I think we can easily scratch out Movable Cities and Natural Disasters because the former would require rewriting too much code for one culture and the latter we already effectively have in Happenings. We can also probably scratch out Desert Ship since it would be very similar to the Ironclad.
I get your logic. However, "Movable cities / Moving cities / Relocate city" seem to be confirmed in 3 other bingo cards Jordi rated. It is hard to believe for me as well, how this mechanic could be implemented. Perhaps this is the reason why they keep working on the dlc? Who knows

"Desert Ship" seems to be scored positively by Jordi in one other card. So is a "Ship wreck in desert". Hard to say what it could be. Does not have to be a unit.

The problem is Jordi has not been consequential with his rating. For instance cards that he scored 6 at the beginning, then he rated them again with only 4 correct answers.

I guess the whole moving city thing is down to interpretation. In this case what is a city to a nomad? It might not be a city specifically but fill the same role as a city in the game. Say a nomad camp that they pack up, relocate and unpack when needed. It's not a city, but it kind of works like one. So a moving city is technically correct.

Desert ship? I'm going to guess it's either some kind of pickup, node or a bronze wonder that'll spawn in desert biomes.

I think the case of Jordi changing ratings is probably not to give away too much and perhaps using a broad interpretation of what people put. As more and more cards get submitted people will probably have answers that are closer to the truth than others and thus the criteria for rating them changes. More broad ideas get pushed out as more narrow and precise answers are submitted. At least that's how I'd imagine it'll go.

As much as I loved the Nomads in Shadow Magic, I don't think I ever used the movable city mechanic they had in that game beyond the one time the Campaign makes you move the city. It was too clunky, time consuming and not worth it.

However(!) Shadow Magic didn't have any city limit. With AoW 4 having a city limit I could actually see myself using movable cities (whatever form they take) a lot more, especially when encroaching on an enemy and things like that. Move the city to right outside their domain and you can produce units a lot closer to them.
I like that.

Come to think of it...it could also be that the city is movable...within its domain? Like you can transport the city to any province within its domain that has a generic province improvement, which then gets replaced by the city. This could also be quite useful.

I suppose it will depend on how they implement it. I suppose they could make you lose the city and give you some unit that can found a new city with X population.

A desert shipwreck is much more plausible. I assumed that the card had meant something like a literal ship/hovership moving through the desert, which is a relatively common trope.

Other people have tried cross-referencing previous bingo cards and these are the guesses they came up with.

We did a bunch of analysis of other Bingos on the Discord, last week.

First, to be clear, Scimitars are already in the game. They're the sword type for High culture. Desertification is already in the game, too, through one of the Happenings. And there are already Natural Disasters, in the form of Happenings.

Second, when you have "New Culture Variants" and "2 Subcultures" on the same Bingo sheet, you have a decent chance to be double-dipping. Likewise, when you have "Camels" and "Camel Mount" on the same Bingo sheet, you've wasted a square on the sheet if the new Camel is the Camel Mount.

Some other stuff I/we found:
  • There probably isn't a new Form, but there is a new Form Trait.
  • One of the new Tomes is Sand-themed.
  • There will be Scorpion Mounts.
  • There will be something sorta-Djinn-ish, in that one event will have you find a Magic Lamp or something.
  • There will be a new mechanic for "harvesting" stuff on provinces, possibly just for Nomads. (Of course, since Architects already harvest Wonderstone, I don't know if Jordi just checked off something that was already in the game.)
  • There will probably be slings/slingshots, since no slings got crossed out.
EDIT: It's really cool that you got 20, though!

My strategy was too make some confirmed or similar choices to make it easier to finally figure out what's coming for sure.

The Bingo is about "Rise from Ruin" - I am not sure if Jordi rated it "that's already in the game, so score". If he did, then it adds to confusion and speculations.

To add to your list - a new skirmisher unit seems confirmed.

Do you think "movable cities" is confirmed?

Another day and no news about the new dlc... :(

I feel like they're saving it for some big reveal, so they can announce it along other DLCs for other games.
But man, the waiting is killing me!
On the other hand, I'm happy they're working on it behind doors.
I loved Thrones of Blood but it felt a bit lacking and rushed.

Today Jordi rated my Bingo card and it got 20 score out of 25. So 20 of my predictions are correct, 5 not so much.

These are the predictions for Rise from Ruin:

New culture has variants
new culture has two subcultures

Just interested, what does "new culture has variants" mean? Especially considering you already have "two subcultures" on your bingo. Does it mean to clarify whether new culture has subcultures at all or is it something else?

It's not the guesses folk came up with on discord. Moveable cities were deduced to actually happen in new DLC, while there isn't any information that was figured out about new fiends for example, since this guess wasn't present on any of the other bingo cards, similar to new events. Though majority of those guesses probably guessed and signed right since they are direct copy pasta of squares from other bingo cards which were already deduced to be true.

It's about figuring out how many subcultures Nomads will have. Simple as that.

    ...

Wait isn't store page specifically say new form, would be kinda weird if we will get second dlc and no new form.
Also Jordi was talking about barons, unit revamp and that nomads are nomads in one of the streams.
