Roads to Power DLC crashing during contract and after event to take gold + hook on me or provisions + hook on me

Description​

Game is a fresh install, no mods, brand new save file. Verified the steam files. Playing the new Rings of Power DLC and went to do a contract. An event popped up from the contract issuer and I was eating some of their food and saying how delicious it was. They offered me more food (provisions) + a hook on me or I could ask for some gold + a hook on me. I selected the gold option and then sped up time to the max and crashed.

Steps to reproduce​

Hard to reproduce as when I re-loaded the save, I got different events and never crashed. I tried sending a bug report using the automated feature when you crash, but that also failed for some reason. (displayed a popup saying it failed) I've included a zip file of the stuff it would've sent.

Hello there! Thank you for the report! I could not reproduce the issue - would there be any possibility that next time you encounter the issue, could you save before taking any option and then check if the issue occurred for you again?

I think it might've been an event that caused it. (could be wrong), but when I reload the save, I always get different events which makes it difficulty to reproduce. I opened a ticket and was instructed to post a bug report about it. The support said they identified several instances of system script errors.

UPDATE;

After trying to create a new character, I noticed achievements were not enabled even though I had no mods, I was playing singleplayer ironman on normal mode and kept my character below 400 points. This was also the case for the character I experienced the crash on(they had no achievements available).

I uninstalled/deleted my documents folder and, there were actually a bunch of mods inside there from when I previously had the game installed ages ago. I guess it just doesn't delete the documents folder when you uninstall? I'm not sure if that is related or not as I did start the game with no mods enabled in the launcher, but maybe having old installation documents was the cause of the issue. After deleting the documents folder and reinstalling, I now have achievements available and haven't crashed on any new character. this can be closed now.
 
Hey, I have similar problem (but I think its the same problem), I posted it in another thread but got no answer. Before making a decision in the event I made save file. Mine game was ironman and achivments were and are enabled. You could check my posts and even check my save file.
