well since i have gotten no help configuring my router so it can host.....maybe ill buy a new one! Can someone give me a brand name that works well hosting HOI games?.....if the price is right i may soon be hosting again which would be nice....thx , Geo

just make sure it has dmz option. then u can enable it, and you will be fine for playing any game. or if ur a pussy and dont like opening all ur ports, make sure it has port forwarding (a range of ports, not just being able to open a single port)
My router only allows opening of 20 ports which is barely enough. So when looking for a new router you might want to find one with a much larger range.

i have opened DMZ...its the only way i can join a game atm......and have set ports for this game specifically.....with no luck....i think i just need a specific way to do my particular router
