Can anyone on PC check something for me...
Activate any rule with a default start, load up all drones and see if your map spawns fewer anomalies than usual.

I performed a rather intensive test on Xbox on 9N 176E and the results were rather shocking. Just want to see if it is a console only thing, a bug, a feature etc.

Thanks if anyone cares to try.

Results of my test:
No rule, default start.
46 anomalies. 13 breakthrough, 18 advancement, 8 event, 7 research.
Any rule, default start.
29 anomalies. 6 breakthrough, 9 advancement, 6 event, 8 research.

Repeatedly quit to main menu and restarted a new game each test. Only made it through about half the rules (individual tests) and all spawns are identical to those above thus far.

After a few hours of continued testing, I reset the whole system and started compiling data from scratch... and realized my entire hypothesis was based on a flawed constant.

My initial testing was done on default settings, but I had forgotten about being bored and researching advanced probe. I now realize that deep scan was showing extra anomalies. This would have been less prominent, I think, however the chosen map had quite a few more anomalies than my usual maps. No idea if this is normal.

As an aside, why does deep scan not have extra anomalies in the tooltip? Gods that would have saved me an entire day of trial and error... mostly error lol.
