Hello, I am running Hoi 2 DD on Windows XP 64. I used to have Windows XP 32. The game now runs extremely slow. I have installed and updated all the drivers. Is the new O/S causing the problem? I was very satisfied with the games speed on Windows 32 bit.

do you start the campaign in 1936? If not, this might be the problem.
because by about 1938-9 the game becomes naturally slow, even on my vista computer because the game has to load the huge amount of units for every country that has been created since 1936, if this is your problem, its natural.
