Runtime Error R6025?

Have you guys ever gotten this error before?

Runtime Error!
c:\...\eu2.exe
R6025
pure virtual function call

that text popped up in a message box which was titled Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

It keeps happening a few months after a saved game I have.

Any ideas on what is the cause of this and how I can continue with my game =).

(if even the developers have no clue what I am talking about, just tell me plz and I will just sigh and start a new game)

There developers rarely read this forum, if ever. There are only us volunteers here, and I didn't happen to check the forum on the weekend this week.

You error looks like a problem in the EU2 files themselves, maybe the .exe got corrupt or something. If you do start a new game does it play OK? Do you have any mods installed or done any editing of the game?

Works perfectly well after I started a new game.

I was using WATK.

this occures, when Ai country cedes more provinces instead it can by an event.
