Runtime error!

My first real problem with CK:

I have:
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT
Creative SB Audigy
SONY CD-RW CRX220E1 (52x)
More than 60G free space
Crusader Kings latest patch (1.04a) and no mods or personal triggering.

It has happened to me about 5 times now (all in the same game with Salerno) and I suspect it has something to do with Teutonic Order creation event (in the end of that year), but I'm not sure about it. Nothing special happens in that year otherwise. Crashes occur mostly between 1120 and 1225 (I couldn't play any longer). I have played CK twice from 1066 to 1419 for converting, but I have never encountered this problem before. And autosaving (every year) doesn't help since the game jamms, if I try to load it. I have to shut down my machine to get back to windows...

I am getting the same runtime error all of the sudden.

I have played a dozen games and never had this error, all of the sudden.. bam!

Almost every autosave i get this and it corrupts.

I am running 1.04a & the feb beta .

Try a clean re-install, ie, full uninstall, reinstall from CD and applying first 1.04a and then latest beta on top. It seems to have an effect of reducing this happening.
