Saved games not being displayed right

well, I recently tried to post a saved game on the forums for HOI2 but I had an issue. There was a lot of for example: Germany_August_31.cfg but no .eug files like everyone else said I should post and not just .cfg because it was just 622 bytes or something like that. The only .eug file that was there was the oldautosave and the autosave which were 15mb's. How can I get the rest of the saved games to appear as .eug files?

There should be TWO files for every save.
The .cfg which is the configuration file and the .eug which is the game data file.

If you can load the save game and play it you do have the .eug file in the save game folder.

then why don't I see any?

Start a game, play 1 month, then save the game, call the game Test1,
Then go to the ".../HOI2/Scenario/Save Games" folder, See if the game is listed there, if it is not and you only see Test1.cfg, then run a search on your system for Files named Test1.eug.
