I've noticed whenever I play this mod and I give myself the sayyid traid (for easier tracking of cadet/bastard branches) that my children(sometimes my kids will get it but my son's sons won't) won't pickup the sayyid trait upon birth.

You have to be more specific. AFAIK in vanilla the Sayyid trait is treated like genetic traits that is passed down to children. CK2Plus changed that a bit, for example if your grandson is not a Muslim, he will not have the Sayyid trait. It's more tied to your religion. So it's not possible to have Saoshyant and Sayyid character who is Christian.
