Can anyone tell me why mr tracid has suddenly closed it it was my favorite mod idea and obviously not only mine. - And i never read a singel word on this stuff beeing a violation. Just curious  Taking this as reference nearly every second what-if-mod thread in here should be closed due to "unbelievable violations"

Okay it says swatiska-censored (Spelling?!) but the post in question is already edited out. Pfff

Maybe he's not a fan of Nazi death rays? :p

Perhaps it was closed because it blatantly violated the forum rules? ;)

In any case questioning mod/admin moves in another thread is not looked upon very favourably. I'd expect this thread to receive
lock3gm.gif
soon.

But yes, I too liked that mod idea.

Well it wasn't exactly a blatant violation, and it was corrected (censored) anyway.

And questioning authority is the essence of a democratic system (that should be quoted), it's just annoying to argue senselessly about it.

I think Narwa should start a new thread about it, when he gets some more work done and link to the old thread as reference to the info and previous discussion. (That's unless the mod was payed by some men in black to close this thread :p )

You're forgetting yourself here, I haven't seen one internet forum, including this, that would be for democratic values (including questioning authority). It doesn't matter where the server is, it doesn't matter from which country you are, what matters, is your control and power over the specific webspace, be that gain by ownership's agreement, or by being hacker.
This, or any other, is not supposed to be democratic forum, so don't search here for democracy. Though you can talk about democracy anywhere you want.
Yea, it is annoying to talk about 'basics', but this is internet, and not your home. So, to teach your kids how not to be responsible and active citizens, is to let them live by internet values.
So, I too liked secret weapons mod, but if it's closed, you're supposed to forget about it, or pretend it never was here.
Read forum rules!

P.S. whats next, you'll ask for elected moderators? yeash.

Opening up a thread that has been closed by the moderators is NOT a good idea.

If the moderators deem to give a reason that is their perogative, if they do not, that is also their perogative.

Read the sticky rules.

If you wish to question a moderators decision, PM THE MODERATOR THAT CLOSED THE THREAD, do NOT open a new thread questioning the moderators decision in public.

And why isn't this thread being closed?

And remember that the mods/admins have said countless times that they are not under the jurisdiction of the Constitution, they are a private site and not subject to any free speech laws, etc.

Well, in reality it is quite different, but do all sides care? In reality the statement "not subject to any free speech laws" is based on thin air, but it doesn't matter. As I said before, power decides rules. Though the problem is, ideas have changed power. Yes, this heretical thread should be burned, no.. bad for hard drive.. i mean..closed!

P.S. Another and quite different point, though still about the same, if this private site on the (hopefully for site owners) private server is located on the private state, be that in the middle of ocean or anywhere else, it still, is public, and not private space, thus obeying to public, not private rules.

P.P.S. Bah, I'm bored. Constitution is nothing, it's peace of paper. Only people who give it value, who believe that something important is written there, make it into something more then peace of paper. But this 'something', that is written in every constitution in the world, comes from ideas and values, that eventually, are not written. No private owner can cancel state rules while being on his private property. And no one can cancel international laws . And no one has or will cancel values, that can be seen any time when human beings communicate and thus form societies. Only power can ignore values, though values tend to come back and kick somebody's you know what.
Now, where's my ban, at least one

P.P.P.S.Then again, you could place server just outside earths atmosphere..and invite only redefined un-social family.
Right, 50% of total + 1 human being could easily cancel any kind of international rule.

The thread was closed due to massive use of swastikas, case closed, no?
really? I thought most of them were censored? and how come it took so long to find out?

I only counted 2, one of which was vague.

I apologize for not finding and closing the thread earlier.
I counted at least 3 swatiskas and 2 SS-runes.
As for why this thread isn´t closed...well....I can´t anymore;)

if the author of that thread would like to continue his work WITHOUT violating the rules this time, he may open a new thread and watch it so that it does not violate any rules this time.

Good thing, then, that we're not in a democratic system here.
