So, as someone who already owns HoI3, can I be assured that there's a benefit to pre-ordering on GamersGate above and beyond getting Sengoku? (incidentally, downloaded the demo but have yet to play it)

In other words, can we gift it if we already own a copy? Can we hold onto the gifted copy to give out later, or do I have to do it immediately after ordering (like, without any delay)? I only ask because some appear to be having trouble receiving the gifted copy, or giving it away when they already own it.

You can gift your extra copy, just avoid clicking on "show serial key" and select "gift" instead, then you'll fill a form with the data of whom should receive it. You can gift that later, just be sure not to click "show serial key" or it will be associated to your account.
I haven't received the bonus key immediately after buying, but I've opened a ticket and the GG support gave me the key in about 24 hours.
It doesn't work like this. Because rather than actually giving you a second cd-key it just resets the cd key you already have, so you can gift it, but then you'll no longer have your own copy.
I've been through this before posting and did exactly in that way. As i wrote, if you don't get your 2nd key immediately, you just have to open a ticket and you'll receive it. I've got mine within 24 hours, gifted it and still have my copy.

Will PI create icons for older games like "Knights of Honor" and few other classics??
I just learned of Knights of Honor and I will be getting that one plus others when I purchase Sengoku on gamersgate (I expect there to be a sale event of some sort to celebrate these new releases so I'll be buying a few).

I have to admit I regularly mouse over your icons to see if there's any cool games I've missed! That 50 beckons though, maybe on the next big sale I'll start the big push!

There's no pre-loading, I assume? My connection isn't terribly good, I'd love to be able to play it right when it's out.
