September Release?

the new PC Gamer shows a release date of Septermber 2nd for Crusader Kings.. interesting, as they havent had it in the mag before now at all.

I'm not sure where they're getting the date, since Sergei himself has said many times here recently that he doesn't have a projected release date yet.

I would not put much into release date specualtions by various game magazines...

For my money I am betting on an Christmas release. I have written this in other threads, but Victoria is in beta for PAradox then set for a fall release (per Paradox website). Paradox will be doing the CK beta per a post from Johan.

All leads me to believe that Victoria will come first and CK will be for the Xmas shopping market.

To all of you out there that can't stop speculating on CK's release date (or even worse, wether CK still will be released.)

• Crusader Kings is alive.
  
• Beta will be here in the summer. It should be shorter than the average Paradox Beta, as most bugs will have been fixed by the Russian Alpha team.
  
• If you think Victoria is going faster than CK, that's because the CK forum was created when the project was lauched, while the Victoria forum was created when the Beta was announced.
  
• No matter what you read inn gaming magazines, as long as a Snowball/Paradox representative didn't announce anything here, there is no set release date.
  
• If all you can do on this forum is post stuff like "CK is dead", "GIVE ME SCREENIES OR ELSE" and the general "Oh CK won't be here before Christmas 2010", just don't post. Wait for the game to be released and come back then.
  
• Give the mods a break. Stupid OT threads clutter up the forum and make it less pleasant to read.
  
• Give Sergeï, Boris and all the Snowball team a break. They've been working real hard on this project and all they get are whinning people.

CK and HoI were started at about the same time, and the forums were created at the same time.
