Here is a series of things i have noticed in 1.06. If you prefer, i will make individual posts:

1- The AI NEVER has an out of supply penalty. Never, Ever, doesnt happen. As germany I had the french in five pockets. All of them eventually stopped recovering ORG, but no penalty.

2- The AI NEVER Suffers from the stacking penalty. Never, Ever, Doesnt happen. The Sovs attacked me with 57 divisions, and had no stacking penalty whatsoever.

3- The AI doesnt always suffer from having too many units under command. If i attack with 4 stacks of 8 divisions led by field marshalls, my max is 24 and i get a penalty. When Budenny leads the soviet AI with 57, he can manage it all no problem.

4- It seems that in the world of HOI, AI aircraft have perfect vision at night. This is absolutely ridiculous. I get single fighters decimating 12 aircraft wings. When aircraft try to fight each other at night, they have the same difficulty in locating each other. Unless the defender has radar, he has as much trouble as the attacker. As a matter of fact, when on bombing missions, the Attacker should have an advantage over the defender. The attacker is heading for a fixed geographical point. the defender doesnt know which point it is, doesnt know what direction the enemy is coming from until the attack is well under way. And even if the interceptor finds the attacker, he still has to get his planes close enough to shoot anyone down. And that goes for both sides. So really, the air combat penalty should be the same for both sides.

5- I didnt realize the swiss had given basing rights to the brits. Units seem to be able to land there while the swiss are still neutral

6- It seems the AI can nuke forts at will. It took me ages to reduce the maginot line which as fortifications go, was intact afterwards. The Sovs attack konigsberg where i have +5 forts, and after three days of fighting, the forts are gone.

Getting -20 for difficulty is hard enough, but since i downloaded 1.06, i can barely invade Russia and get crushed within a month, because my airforce is dead and the enemy can concentrate huge force with no penalty. Even if i meet with like numbers, i get a stacking penalty and the AI doesnt.

1) i have seen the AI "runnig out of supply" but diffrent rules appies for AI pockets , and nobody knows how

2) (on land) you can attack with 24 divisions from each direction without geiiting a stacking penalty , if you attack from 4 directions with FM as commanders you can attack with 4*24= 96 div. without a penalty

3) se 2)

4) night attacks doesnt work , already reported

5) all countries can land in all non-enemy provinces , already reported

6) fighting some times reduce forts or what ??

If its too hard for you on VH why do you play on VH , stop complaining if you get your butt kicked on harder levels...

1->Not sure but pockets in France are likely to be either in forts or near the sea so likely to be supplied. Not sure again

How do you know that ? You are just seeing the penaly of the hip of the stack, so to speak people with no stack penalty

Is 2 different from 3 ?

Forts built in game and forts built at the start of the scenario seems to be treated differently in terms of forts damage, I guess it is WAD.

Getting -20 for difficulty = very hard isn't it ?

Considering that the AI has stacking penalties for land/naval, and you do not have fuurther evidence to support ur assumption, I guess they do have a stacking penaltier. As a side note, even with the stacking penalty, 57 = 24 + (57-24) / 4 = the strength of 32 units... That's quite strong stuff...
