Yesterday I have brougth the Crusader Kings game. I was hoping for a nice and quite relaxation weekend in the company of a great new game.

Boy was I surprised.

The program shuts down all the time. I have installed the patch, but it keeps on going down.

Everytime my king dies (I been playing Danmark) the program tells me, that I have surrendered, and the shuts off.

I am running the program on and a HP laptop computer with the following systems.

Windows XP professional
Version 2002
Servicepack 2
With an Intel Centrino 1400 mhz processor
512 Mb Ram.

The Soundsystem is Soundmax digital Audio.
The Screencard is ATI mobility Radeon 9600 series.

What can I do about the problem ?

I must say, tahe I am very frustrated. When i borught the Heats og Iron game som years ago, I had exactaly the same problem. The problems was never resolved, until I brought my new computer, but even a new laptop does not seem to be alble to run your products.

Best regards

Rudo

*cough*

Do you have a dynastic heir?

*cough*

The game ends if your dynasty no longer holds a title, if your claims are being passed to someone of a different line, and your family doesn't hold any titles anywhere else, the game is over.

@Rudo,

Is it the game play problem as described above?

Based on your description I would suggest to get the latest patch. There was a problem in some older versions where the Danish kings heirs were not recognised as his family by the game, causing the game to end when he died since your family had died out. :)

@Rudo, has this been resolved for you?
