Hello there folks.
I have had HOI2 for quite some time and have played it on and off and different periods of time. And while I have always enjoyed the game while playing it I never felt like I truly understood the mechanics.
I feel like I have most of the basics down as far as economy goes and pre war set up, recruiting units. But the finer points of warfare once chaos ensue have thus far eluded me.
I was wondering if there would be anyone willing to take a little time and come online with me and show me how to wage an effective ground campaign into enemy territories. It feels to me that regardless of how large or well put together I think my units are, be it a mix of infantry or combined arms of arty/armor/inf I never seem to be successful in taking over land.
Would also like to join the community of online gamers within HOI2 and start to play with other people as well.
Any help would be appreciated.
