Do any of you follow RvBOMally? Him and I are planning to make a mod for Stellaris based on his Space Cadet setting.

We need 3D modelers though, does anyone here have any experience in that area?
I don't know what Space Cadet is, but judging from that artwork it's a culmination of various sci-fi universes?
Will it have Captain Malcolm Reynolds?

Will it have Col. Jack O'Neill?

And most importantly, will it have Radical Edward?

If the answer is "yes" to all of the above, I bid a warm good luck!
If the answer is "no" to all of the above, I still bid a warm good luck! as this sounds kinda cool.:p

Let's just hope modding of 3D models is possible.... I don't think many previous PDX games allowed modding of unit models. Well granted I certainly hope its possible.... I'd love learning to 3D model just to make sexy sexy LotGH ships for Stellaris.

I believe they've said HoI4 will have the (proper) ability to modify models, so if that's so, it's likely the same for Stellaris.
You could completely change the sprites in the games that actually used them, but in the more recent games you could only slightly change the existing models. (A couple mods had some interesting models, but none were very far from their originals)

well we know you can make ships ingame (though we don't know exactly how the system will work) so either we will be able to import models because of choices (which would be about 80% work done if a mod already ixists in another game) or we won't because it's just incompatible or too much work.
