startup crash

each time i try to start eu it crashes right after the intro and goes back to windows! I have tried everything but nothing works pleas help.
I have intel pIII 733,hercules 3d prophetIImx,aurel vortex 8820 a3d, and 128 mb ram, with plenty of hard drive space.

How long have you tried to wait?
it may take a quite loong time. for some reason the load screen sometimes doesnt show up but still is there for one of my friends.
try to wait a couple of minutes and see waht happens.

It sounds like your computer is crashing because it is having difficulty switching to 800 x 600 resolution. Check out the Graphics Card.

I got the explanation about switching to 800x600 but this wasn't the cause of my problems - see my response to "this game is unplayable" to see what fixed it for me - and I hope this fixes it for you too.
