Status quo says no border adjustments but it did

I claimed Systems and the awakened empire captured one of mine (top on Screenshot, Evarym) without a claim and he kept it. The message says there are no occupied systems and no border changes, but that's not true. I kept Riggott.

It depends on war goal. Like total war goal you keep what you occupy when you do status quo

Yep, total war is why, as soon as you take a system, it belongs to you
