Well, I got Vicky when I was 10 (im 16 now), and 1-2 years ago (maybe 3), I was able to fully appreciate my product :D. But, I only got Vicky, and when I looked for Revolutions, well...I was out of luck.

I was looking for a store that had it, and the only place was GamersGate. Now call me closed minded, but 2-3 years, digital didn't sound like a smart idea. Now, after buying several games through Steam (including EU3:Complete), I wanted to convert some games from Eu3 to Vicky. Obviously, the only converters out there are to Ricky, so, I wanted to get Ricky (legally)...

Now, I now there isn't any physical copy for sale, but I was hoping that, with Vicky 2 coming out and all that, that perhaps that Vicky/Ricky and Vicky 2 become available on steam....but just sayin'...

I just don't like GamersGate from what I hear about them...

Such as?
Generally GG is the best download distributor for Paradox games; other distributors like Steam may be OK for other games but tend to have far more issues with Paradox games than GG. e.g. GG versions of Paradox games use patches directly from Paradox while for Steam you must wait for them to offer the patch unless you want to do a bunch of hacking to make the standard patch work. Patches also tend to be delayed by the repackaging that Steam does. In at least two cases (HoI3 and HttT) the Steam version of the game is not compatible with the Paradox/GG version for multiplayer unless you modify it. Some of these issues may be more Paradox's fault than Steam's but the point is they don't happen with GamersGate. Expansions from Steam may also not install unless you bought the base game on Steam. I've bought about 10 games/expansions from GG and never had a problem.
