Hello,

I have bought the game in steam. Then I tried to play it on Ubuntu 20.04, installing the steam from snap. Unfortunately, starting from steam is not working for me.
I am not good in it, maybe the snap is a problem etc ... so I gave up the steam, linked the paradox account to steam, and downloaded Paradox Launcher v2 for linux, and re-installed the game from there.
The game runs nice and works now

Now theproblem: the Paradox Launcher v2 won't see the game latest updates and thinks latest is 3.4.5
Can I somehow still update the game to latest version using the launcher, or manually, so to say without steam.
If not, is there any source for official news about this?

I have found the thread about same issue on this forum, but its not that well elaborated about this topic.

So I found out that on my sytem the Stellaris did not work with "snap" version of steam, but worked with "deb" version of steam (downloaded from their website).
For now I see there is no option to get Stellaris 3.5.x using Paradox launcher v2.

Although I have solved my problem by other means as mentioned above, it would be still nice to hear some official statement about it (updating to 3.5.x from launcher), as well as see info about it on the launcher's download page or elsewhere in official source, so that people won't be confused.
