Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I am trying to upgrade my Titans in game, the 2 I have built were auto designed. When I swap out any of the components and go to save, it tells me "A Design of that name already exists for another Ship Size"

I have auto-upgrade enabled and it's not upgrading from Advanced Combat Computer to the Precognitive Interface, also not upgrading from Hyper Drive III to Jump Drives. This is a separate issue, but is how I arrived at needing to upgrade my Titan.

I haven't played in a couple years, so this might be "as intended" but I am very sure I used to be able to save over auto-designed ships and it would no longer consider the design auto-generated after that point.

Edit: I have actually encountered the "A Design of that name already exists for another Ship Size" error message a LOT recently. Often when cycling through the random name generator, only one or two random names are allowed. It feels almost as if it's looking across my entire galaxy and taking other empires ship names into consideration. Adding for detail, could be part of a separate bug.

I have also realized you can hot-swap the design in the fleet for another and it'll upgrade, but that's not intuitive and I stumbled upon it as a solution.
