Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The Enigmatic Cache instantly retreats when I engage it in combat. I noticed that it only retreats back and forth between two of my systems with Gateways (Rurius and Rantemario). Thus, stationing two fleets in either system creates a never-ending loop of the Cache retreating from one system to the next. The constant "combat" creates an infinite stream of new admirals due to the "Promising Officer" event. Because the Cache went back and forth so quickly, I wasn't able to pull my fleets out of combat; I was only able to stop the loop by disbanding one of the fleets.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Attack the Enigmatic Cache and station fleets in the areas in which it Emergency FTL's towards.
