Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
If I get access to exotic gases through advanced bio reactors then it doesn't count as me having access to exotic gases for the purposes of drawing techs. For example I cannot get neural weaving even though I have access to exotic gases. Only the engineering techs Exotic Gas Refining/Extraction count as having discovered exotic gases.
