With rich taxes at 110% compared to 160% for the others I decided to cheat and trigger a stock market hausse, but it wouldnt activate. Looking in the economic events file i found that the trigger is different to that of "Stock market crash", an event that works...

Stock market crash has technology = "#id of the stockmarket tech" as trigger

stock market hausse has invention = "#id of the stockmarket tech" as trigger

Changing from "invention" to "technology" means that I can trigger the event manually.

Indeed. Nicely spotted :)

I think it's been reported already, but no harm in being reminded of it.
