Okay, so I know I'm supposed to use Google search, and I know that this has undoubtedly been answered before, but for some reason I'm failing to find it by any means.
Symptoms:
My buddy (I'm host) can chat, can start the game normally, play the game normally... but he can't pause. When he pauses, it doesn't actually pause, and we desync (although it doesn't say that). Further, once he finishes a tech, he can't start a new one. I had this problem recently on Valk, but I just figured it was some oddness on that end...
Although I seriously doubt this to be the cause, I guess it's worth mentioning that I'm hosting from the west coast of the United States, and my friend is joining from London, but ping is never over 180 on other things regarding London connections, so I can't see why that would be an issue...
