Could you add a section to the FAQ that says what the most recent word on "when will the game be out" is? Or perhaps "current projected release date" (or if that is "when we're done", perhaps "current stage of project").

I'm sure the regulars on the board knows the most recent update on this very important topic, but for infrequent visitors such as myself it's not that apparent. (I did look around... *honest* :)).

And surely... you don't want those ubiquotous "When's the game out?" threads, right? :)

I feel at a bit of a loss myself. I try to read up on the developers diaries and such but I feel as to CK discussions, I've contributed everything I can with my opinions and limited knowledge of history.

As all I can do now is wish sergei and snowball/paradox good luck and applaud them on the updates such an addition would be nice.

btw jacob..i think the last annoucement made was possibly six weeks to beta and hopefully a release soon after!

can't wait.. :)
 
I read in one of these threads that we could expect a release date of sometime around Christmas, for a good, nearly bug-free game (and not rushed like HoI)

I think you are right.

All things have been debated to death, resurected and then debated to death yet again....:D

That is for sure. This forum has gotten quite stale. Occasionally Sergei (or the Duke in Red) throws us a bone with the status updates, but they have been rather of a rare nature of late.:(
 
Maybe they're having a break...:)
